Robert K. Withers
Mr. Withers is an investment professional. He brings to the board more than 15 years of capital markets experience at HSBC Capital (Canada) Inc. and investment banking at CIBC World Markets. In these roles, Mr. Withers has advised senior management teams across a broad range of industries on acquisitions, financings, divestitures and other key corporate decisions. He recently formed WhyteCliff Capital Partners to advise and invest in small-cap enterprises. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of British Columbia.
Stuart Wolfe
Mr. Wolfe held various positions with Graymont Group for over 30 years, the last 15 as President and CEO of parent company Graymont Limited before retiring in 2007. He has extensive operating experience in the resource and heavy construction industries and is currently a member of the Advisory Board of GWIL Industries Ltd. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oregon.
Mark Gardhouse
Mr. Gardhouse has more than 25 years of experience as a merchant banker at financial institutions and as a principal. That experience provided exposure to numerous industries, including distribution, auto parts manufacturing, heavy industrial products and food manufacturing and wholesaling. He received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1983.
Robert Miller
Mr. Miller joined PRT as Vice President, Finance and Administration and CFO in 1998. He was appointed President and CEO in 2008. Mr. Miller has held progressively more senior financial and operational management positions over the past 25 years in public and private companies in the technology, manufacturing and agricultural sectors. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in 1981 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1984 after articling with Thorne Riddell, a predecessor of KPMG LLP.
John Taylor
Mr. Taylor is a Chartered Accountant with an extensive resource industry background. From 1977 to 2005 he held senior financial management roles with Teck Cominco Ltd., including 10 years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until his retirement in 2005.
Reynold Hert
Mr. Hert is a senior operating executive with extensive experience at the board level. He has held progressively more senior roles in the forest industry, including positions with Weyerhaeuser as Vice President, Canadian Lumber Business, and Vice President, Canadian Forestlands. From 2004 to 2008, Mr. Hert was President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Forest Products, headquartered in Duncan, BC, providing strategic leadership and direction to this 2,000-employee, $1-billion organization. Most recently Mr. Hert was CEO and Chair of the Board of the British Columbia Forest Safety Council. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Toronto.
