Timely and accurate processing of payroll and benefits for production employees in all provinces of operation.
Position Description:
Specific Accountabilities:
Setting up and verifying authenticity of new employee records.
Setting up and verifying eligibility for benefits and maintaining employee benefit files.
Inputting of Time and Attendance data into Avanti payroll system for production employees, and preparation and analysis of confidential labour costing reports for Senior Management.
Responding to confidential employee inquiries on payroll and benefits including printing of reports.
Processing terminations, including preparation of ROE's, for production employees.
Ensuring that payroll and benefits comply with the relevant terms of collective agreements and labour standards in multiple provinces and states.
Coverage for the production payroll coordinator
Other duties, as may, from time to time, be required.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be an organizer, comfortable in a team oriented situation, and capable of prioritizing and performing multi tasked assignments within given time lines.
Formal level 2 CPA training preferred but not necessary, strong excel skills and solid experience in payroll and HR co-ordination is preferred
