PRT Inc. operates 15 forest nurseries in Canada and the USA, producing 220 million seedlings annually. We currently have an opening for an ambitious, competent individual as Nursery Manager at our USA nursery, PRT Oregon located in Hubbard, OR.
The Nursery Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the nursery, and will lead a team of experienced people in all business aspects of production of forest seedlings in greenhouse and open compound facilities. The Nursery Manager will be accountable for the development and execution of the Nursery Budget, Operational Work Plan, Risk Management Plan and an effective Safety Program.
Qualifications:
The successful individual will have formal education in horticulture, forestry or agriculture and will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Significant experience in the horticulture or silviculture industry will be required.
