Payroll and Benefits Administrator P/T 1Year Mat Leave

Reports to:
Corporate Controller
Department Key functions:
Timely and accurate Payroll and Benefits administration.
Key Responsibility:
Prepare, process and administer payroll and benefits on a weekly basis.
Position Description:
Specific and Essential Accountabilities:
Process weekly payrolls, salary and hourly
Prepare and post payroll & benefits related Journal Entries
Remit all source deductions
Prepare annual T4's
Report and manage month end & year end processes & procedures
Benefits administration including enrollments, changes, deletions and reconciling all expense accounts
Liaise with all levels of staff regarding payroll and benefits
Qualifications:
3 + years experience in a payroll and benefits position
Detail Oriented
Well organized and a self starter
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Avanti and ADP an asset
