PRT Skimikin

PRT Skimikin specialized in 1+0 greenhouse open-compound crops for spring planting. The warm summers, mild winters in the area, along with excellent greenhouse capabilities, make this nursery ideal for the production of high-quality Lodgepole pine, Western larch, and spruce.
This nursery produces all commercial species planted in the BC Interior, including:

  • 1+0 greenhouse grown container-grown seedlings
  • 1+0 and 2+0 open-compound crops for spring planting - well-conditioned, light adapted seedlings
  • Individual wrapped seedlings suitable for frozen planting situations. 

Specialty products
This nursery specializes in the following products:

  • Spring plant seedlings. Well conditioned spring 1+0 and 2+0 seedlings
  • Seedlings for summer and fall planting. Well conditioned for summer and fall planting.
  • Difficult to grow crops. Interior Douglas fir and other hard to grow crops.
